While I don't use Nero for burning, the article looks good, and keep up the good work with all the many explanatory FAQs that you have already written that help all of us novices - well I should probably only speak for myself...but hey!

Thanks for that - I don't use it either, but the codes are also useful for DVD Decrypter/ImgBurn, which usually give you the error code in "plain English" to begin with.

nero always give me some good and bad burn, don't know why that is why I use shrink, dvdd and imgburn only

I have never had a bad burn in Nero - looks like I was just lucky!

Nice work blutach I've been referring people to the same Atapi error codes but they are here. You might also want to include the Nero Error Message page here for errors that happen in Nero.
