DVD Media Won't Eject

i've never had any problems with Decrypter, until i started to use this new media. it's some 8x DVD-R's by Azul.

i've recently flashed my drive with the lastest firmware provided by Dell and i still can't eject this media after it's done burning.

does anyone know how to fix this problem? i've manually ejected the disc, but the drive is still non-responsive afterwards. the light is still on as if something were in it. i don't want to have to restart after every burn just to eject my disc.

looks like your drive doesn't like that media, unfortunately i think you may have to live with it (i sure definitely wouldn't), or start buying a different brand...

what is the make and model #of your writer?

my drive is a Phillips DVD8361 or something like that. anyhow, thanks guys for your help. luckily, Decrypter has an option to eject the media after reading or writing. i only found that AFTER posting this. i still think it's odd that the button on the drive doesn't eject the disc but the program doing the burning will.
