And if you burn em at 4x, they should be OK. What's the media code Roy? Given they are +Rs, I suspect they are the mighty R03s, which I use so successfully. Of course their G05 -R cousins have a variable rep.

very dodgy at the moment. i have a batch of genuine ritek that are shown as 4x only in my plextor and 8x in my NEC. they will not burn in the plex , but will in the NEC.
no problems with the plex as it burns verbatim and yudens at 16x

I suspect they're R03's but do not have a disc yet to test. I'm going by pictures of the packaging on Videohelp. The 16x'ers that I have been using are R04's.
