I am more interested in HVD than either Blu Ray or HD DVD. HVD will probably stay as computer media for a long time before films would be considered.Comment

The first 1x speed DVD writers that were on the high street were around £800 from what I remember. My first DVD writer was still £200.
I would thought it be better to have holographic solid state storage (like they had in the original series of Star Trek). They would use a cube shaped block and read from it.Comment
