Problems with DVD-Rs

hi, I'm using an iomega dvd burner. the strange thing is that when i burn with my dvd-rws, they plays fine on my tv but when i burn the excat file using the same program on dvd-rs, they give 'no play' error on tv, but they play fine on my pc. I tried different dvd-r media from sony to imation but still get the 'no play' error. So what's going on??

what program are you burning with?

Usually this problems are due to a bad media. It will be useful to see a scan of these media. Imation and some batch of Sony are not the best

I done a scan of the medias with nero cd-dvd and they are all fine.

Well, i used nero to burn the .iso images. Beside nero, i also tried using sonic recordnow as well as isoburner. all of them give me the same results. The dvd-rws and dvd+rws are fine, but the dvd-r and dvd+r cannot be play on tv.

try them in your burner, if they check out there, then your player
in TV? is a bad one.
