DvdShrink Burning Problems

Have downloaded firmware but need help sorting out drives.

Well try this scenaro first. Change the jumper to master on the burner(dvd).
Google is your friend. Take the flat cable off the other 2 drives, disconnect power cables from them(4 wire white plug). Put the secondary cable on the dvd burner(no brainer). Now you are ready to flash, just execute the download. No disk in drive. This is the optimum setup for any dvd operation.
It's never good for 2 drives to talk to each other on the same cable.
Test.

the new serial hard drive interface has the right idea,
one drive, one cable, no jumpers

several people here share drives and cables, most leave the burner
and main data hard drive on different cables

Have checked cables inside pc and hard drive was not connected to dvd drive so left alone could you have mistaken it for my external hard drive.
So if hard drive separate from burner could it be burner on the way out

You're right, just take power cable off other dvd-rom to flash the burner.

do you have any other burning software installed?

Have downloaded flash file DR4GSBC is this the right one to use dont want to harm pc.Also burning software i use is dvd shrink,nero and alcohol

make sure no 2 burning softwares are loading at bootup

after extracting the firmware shows GSBC.exe
