What's the best media for PS2 and Xbox?

I was wondering this, I've tried burning on -R and PS2 won't accept these, the Box will, with the +R is going to be fine as long as I change some settings on the PS2, anyways, wich one is the most appealing and what brands are the best, as I see Ridata is not very healthy as well as some Memorex.
