Help with burning problem

Yes I have burned DVD's previously with no trouble and burned a CD-R with MP3's with no trouble. The drive will not erase my CD-RW's though.

I have tried DVD decrypter and comes up with the invalid address error as well.

I even tried turning of the overwrite in the Nero settings as I heard Pioneer burners dont like overwriting.

If I had my guess, it would be the drive has passed on to the other side.

Run a Nero Info Tool on the drive (jmet where's that dang guide???)

Jmet may be right, it would be nice to have another burner to test or another computer to try the pioneer in.

WHOOO HOOOO....I have burned successfully!!!!!!

Just an update for everyone - I removed my burner from the computer and thought I would check the settings and give it one more go. I refitted the burner back into the computer and gave it a go with a Verbatim DVD+RW I had and all went well. I have since had 3 successful burns since then.

Now I am not sure if it was pulling the drive out and back in that fixed it as I also totally cleaned out Nero, re-installed and updated it as well as using Verbatim DVD+R's that burn at 4X instead of the TDK DVD+R's.

The First set of TDK's I bought worked fine but came in there own case's but the second set I bought was a stack....i am not sure if that may make a difference.
