Help with burning problem

Yes thats right.....I am leaning more towards a corrupted Nero.

But not is all rose's as now my DVD wont play the burned disc's. My X-Box will except for 1 which the computer wont even read.....this is like the never ending story. Hmmmmmmm....let me think.....The media maybe.

Kinda obvious now, if by your computer you mean burner won't read it's own burns.

why would the x box read it? they are pretty good readers

The X-Box reads it because it is basically a Microsoft hard drive....so does this mean my burner is the fault?

I wish we had another computer to check that newer pioneer in.
Post a burn log from an 8x burn with verbatim +r format, and save the disk,
we'll need it to do a test or two on, if it's a coaster then think hard about
checking that burner in another computer.

Ok here is a successful burn log that I did using a Verbatim DVD+RW I had. This was the same file that didnt work in anything last time, but that was burned to a DVD+R.

I could only burn at 4X as thats all the media would let me.

save those tdk's, they are too new, I could only find one person who's reviewed them.
try some 8x media that's made in japan
Your burner is too new also. Immature firmware.

Hey guys just an update on the situation. I had the burner tested by a 'friends friend' and seem that it is cactus.

He has supposedly recently found a few Pioneer burners that have died prematurely.....sounds like it may pay to avoid them.

Thanks for everyones help....now back to the store for warranty......well at least all me settings are correct now.

By looking at that log Madmike you have a lot of memory in use.You might want to take a look at that.

Yea Soup, I have been through that and had it at 35% on a few burns that still failed.
