Welcome to the Digital Digest Video forum jayfill!

"Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: CMC MAG. AM3) "
That is your problem. Switch to a better brand of blank media. Possibly a bad disc or even a bad batch of disc's.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried using different media and have never had a problem before with the cheaper media discs.
I have more info though, decrypter says this -
Failed to reserve track - Reason - cannot write medium incompatible format.

Can you explain what this means in plain English?

I have also tried using imageburn, and it says the same thing.

      Many thanks for your help.

What another brands of media have you tried with?

Try to not use the MAX speed - put it on 2X or 4X or what you media supports.

The error code more or less tells you that the burner is not happy with the media inserted.

          All sorted thanks.

Ok thanks for your help. I tried using better quality discs and all works fine. Very weird though as i have used crappy discs always as theyre cheap and never had previous problem.
          So thanks again

The "Quality Control" of cheaper blank media is very poor, meaning 1 batch/spindle could do ok while the batch/spindle you just bought won't work. Me I don't like to take that chance, so I get good media to start with. Glad you got it working though!
