      watch out for made in India with the verbatims, they are highly variable and trickling into the US, I look forward to India getting it's act together, the company MBI that manufactures there has had some of the best media.
      Some of the non TY(taiyo yuden)mid codes from sony have been very good.
      Except for MIJ media it's all a gamble.

              I hate rebates but that was a very very good deal, course I have 200 TY
              MIJ coming for 28 cents ea to the door, newegg charges me sales tax

              I was a little scared of the 8x verbatim

                the 8x verbatim - was the best that come close to yuden that I have but I can't find them here in local store and I dont want to take the chance through internet
