Auto burn with Nero won't work & disc won't play

Well another newbie here... I have successfully burned many dvd's using the shrink/ nero 6 combination. However I was foolish enough to try nero7 and thats when it all began. I completely uninstalled both shrink and nero 7 and reinstalled 6 but two things have become apparent, nero used to auto start after shrink was completed and second some of these discs wont replay in the computer they were created on. and answers would be greatly appreciated..mersh

How have you been burning these disc's that won't play?

Sorry , I didn't reply earlier.. I could burn them by manually opening Nero dvd rom. But they would not replay in the same burner that they were created on . Thanks mersh
