          i dont get it,last time i downloaded official nec fw update,in readme file stood this;
this Update works only with NEC ND-2510A (retail&bulk), not with OEM releases.
(OEM means part of a full PC package or external USB/FireWire variant of this burner)
For OEM products contact your dealer, distributior or manufacturer of PC package.

now,i saw in the fw dload list some fws that had "oem" at the end,so i wondered what if i used those, and my drive is not oem?

get binflash, extract to a folder on your desktop, and download the bin file and put in same folder as binflash.
                  use the link here

may the force be with you

where from can i get bin file?
it seems theres no force round here, just an empty head

i got this splitter.exe, that is supposed to extract bin from exe,but i don have ide how to use it all that stood in readmefile was:

"I have a better idea. I'll send you my tool, that can be used to split
files. It's shorter and helps to convert exe firmwares to binfiles in future

Just call "splitt32 {Exefile} {Binfile} 53248" - This way you cut the first
                    53248 or 49152 and get a binfile as a result. "

see post # 2, on this page are the bin files and binflasher, by clicking on the bin files you can see some are newer and have bitsetting for +R disks. If you
download the win32gui, it's piece of cake.

                          fast---riplock removed
                          orig----original
rpc1---region free and probably riplock removed as well
                          slow---original with region free?

I always use blue just a habit

                          feel the force!
