    Logical Block Address

I have been having this Logical Block Address Read (DVDErr. 336128) that is with sonic, but it comes up error no matter what software, come up after I get a video almost done burning which of course stops the burn and hoses the disk.
I first noticed it a while back and thinking it was some bug I tried it on a different computer with my external microsoloutions 4x burner.

It wasnt doing it on everything though, I could still capture vcrs and I had no problem copying with either x copy or shrink, or whatever else would work on any particular movie.

It is strange though, I couldnt capture with my cannon digital vid camera and thought it was somthing wrong with the camera or something, but now I tried a vcr tape and it still does it.

After trying a new burner- empire and trying both burners in two different computers and with all of 4 different softwares, including Windows media, sonic 4.5, Win DVD, and Nero, as well as completely rewriting my hard drive on one computer, I am ready to pull my hair out. I can't even capture my home video in 720 by 480, but just the other day I got a vcr tape in lower quality mpeg 1,

It has been very inconsistent. I am using Memorex dvd -r's also, but have burned good copys from them just recently.

    any help would be appreciated.

Could you post a Nero log? I am wondering if you have INCD running in the background? INCD comes with Nero and is known to conflict with drivers and other operations.

Ive been fighting this problem for months
then I read all the stuff on this site about the disk quality
and I realized that I really havent had problems till I got into a new batch of the Memorex DVD -R's

so, even though I just bought 50, I went out and got some Verbatim disks and

          owalla..Problem solved like a dream.

that stinks that you cant trust the Memorex quality,
          what is up with that?

anyway, for anybody interested, like they preach on here, the media is imporntant.

sheesh what a pain in the rear

Glad you got your problem solved Jimmy!

Memorex is pure sh1te. Garbage dressed up in a nice brand name. Well done with the Verbates - they won't let you down.

You might also like to consider burning ISOs with ImgBurn, which is a top notch free burning prog.
