what do you think of maxell -r to burn with? dose anyone have the link, there was a site that listed the best media to the worst media to use

definetly not the worst media you can buy, but verbatim and sony especially are better and some of the very best including taiyo yuden discs. this link i think is what you want

it takes a while to learn to use the site but it beats POT LUCK!

I use the Maxell -R only and they work great for me! I have very rarely gotten a bad burn with them..

I got some that were GO5's and I'm not taking chances, I'm backing them up again. I bought some Maxells early last year and they were the MXLGO3, I think, and I had great luck with these. I found some more at Wallymart and these were the GO5's. I also got some 16X Fuji's that I can only burn at 4X. I have the latest firmware on my Pioneer so obviously these Fuji's aren't supported on my drive. Taiyo's and Verbatims are the best so I don't know why I always try this other stuff. It's not like I'm saving anything.

Very Funny I feel the same way about memorex they just don't work for me at all..

And the Maxell I have are MXL RG03 and they seem to work good..
