Fastest writespeed DVD9

Are there any DVD9 discs that can be used with faster write speed than 2.4 ?
Just wonder, takes a while to burn a DVD9 @ 2.4x............

i did a quick search and didnt come up with any. theres some people here who burn that low on just regular -/+ R. but most stick with 4X and it lowers your chances of having a bad burn. that is aslong as you are using quality media.

i'm always using quality media...or at least i think i buy quality

just stick with burning at 2.4X it will significantly lower you risk of wasting a DL disc. and those things are not cheap!

Edit: i have never used a DL disc so i cannot suggest buning at _X . but like corn said he has success at 6X, so..

Ditto. I'm burning at consistent 5.5x-6-5x speed using Verbatim +R DL without any coaster and verified with no error. These discs are good!

Which MID are these Verbs corny? I'm still with the ones labelled 2.4x on the box.
