Backing Up House

I woud like to back up my House Season 1. The thing is, these are double sided disc with four episodes on each side and 3 total disc. Now my goal to to put 8 Episodes onto a dual layer disc therefor in the end I will use 3 dual layered disc, instead of 6 normal disc. My main question is, how can I take episodes from Disc 1 side A and episodes from Disc 1 Side B and combine them to one project on a dual layer (9GB) disc? I have been using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter for a long time so I am pretty familiar with burning, just not combining two seperate discs or sides. I would really appreciate if someone could help me out. Take care fellas.

do you plan on keepong the menu's? only way I know to do this is to do it with out a menu or with my home made menu. if this info can help you let me know

that's 324 minutes per dual layer disk, I suspect those are dvd-18's

no wonder 22 episodes, and not many extras
