My burner reads 0% space on new blank DVD

Anyone know why my computer or is it my burner keeps reading 0% space available on new blank DVD.
I tried DVD-R and DVD+R and both were read with no available space on disks, these disks are brand new ???

Hi and welcome to the forum

How do you see this "0% available"? What software are you using? What burner? What firmware? And what discs are you using exactly? + or -R is too generic.

Problem solved it was my hard drive that had no room left. Once I deleted old programs the DVD burning was just fine.
