Do you run "lean and mean" while burning?
Read and do this sticky by jmet called "How to free up some system resources or system memory in XP"
When I burn, I disconnect from the internet using "Local Area Connection"
I then "Disable Norton Internet Security"
I then "block traffic" in Nortons
I then "Disable Anti-virus auto protect"
I shut down my anti-spyware.
I open "process explorer and shut down any other unneccessary programs.
I shut down process explorer and then open Nero to burn manually so Shrink is not running in the background.
While burning. I do not touch the mouse or keyboard because this cause input on the CPU
Then I only burn at 4X because I have a slow procesor.
Only by trial and error and "wasted discs" that I found a solution that works on my system. Good luck!
Post back your next scan and see if this works!
