    Burn Failed?

I'm trying to burn Waiting and I get a Burn Failed at 4x error. I've tried it on both Nero and DVDDecrypter. Neither worked. The Burn Failed error is the Nero error. Below is my Nero log. Can anyone tell me, please, what the problem is and whether I can get around it? Thank you.

      I
did upgrade to the latest Nero like someone suggested in another thread. They also suggest something about BSOY, but when I tried that, I kept getting a "page cannot be displayed error" when I tried to download.
let's try again, LT gave you excellent advise

try this link for the firmware, you will need winrar

You should only use genuine Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Many thanks to www.pcx.com.au for their supply and great service.

Please, please forgive me if I sound rude. I really don't mean to.

Like I said in the statement you quoted, I did upgrade the Nero with that link, and the link to the BSOY upgrade gives me a "The Page cannot be found" message. I go to the link and click on BSOY and I get that message.

I'm really confused as to why I didn't have any problems before and then overnight this starts happening =( I'm more than willing to follow any advice I'm given, and I did this time to the best of my ability, but I'm not able to do the BSOY thing.

Thanks =) That's the very first thing I did before I posted in this forum the for the first time. All of your advice and suggestions have been the biggest help and I think I've read most of the stuff in your signature. In this case, none of the stuff in that link helps me, as I've done it all more than once. I do appreciate it though! I have it bookmarked and refer to it often.

lol You're too quick. By the time I fixed my reply, you fixed yours.

Which media are you referring to when you say it's crap?

Oh. I thought Memorex was good. In this small town, it's that or the generic lol. I don't have a credit card, so buying it online isn't an option. Would it be worth it to try the generic? I mean obviously it's going to be crap as well, but is the Memorex just as crappy? Which would mean that if I have to buy crap, at least I can spend less to do it?

And thanks for all your help =)

With my 1633s I went to the stock BSOY and then went back to BSOS. I'm about to go to the codeguy CSOT crossflash 1633s@1653s that has been reported to give a whole lot better results than any other 1633S firmware

Up to you. I didn't have no luck with it @stock and never tried omnipatcher on it. I 'llprobably go to CSOT on my 1633s after I sober up from this weekend.

                              ugh

I did the nero upgrade again and I did the BSOY thing with the new link that Chewy gave me.

I still burned a blank disc in spite of the message saying it burned successfully. Nothing changed

Now what? Is it a lost cause?

Thanks anyway for the help. Y'all tried, that's all anyone can ask for.

                              Mark
