I missed the BB ad smoke, are they the 16X or 8X +R? I loaded up on the 16X at the OfficeMax store closing near me in NJ alittle while back.

They are the 16X made in Taiwan. Last week they had an on line sale, can't remember but it was a good price and 99 cent shipping but I missed it. They were sold out by the time I saw it. When they go on sale at our local BB you have to be quick on the +Rs, Sun or Mon or you luck out. They usually have more -Rs.

Yeah I got the last 200 MIT +R's at the OM that closed near me, I asked if I could get a raincheck and I thought the guy was gonna punch me

It seems like alot of places don't ever have enough stock on hand of the items they list on sale. I run into that alot as I am a bargain/clearance/sale shopper!
I've been to BB for discs on Sun (when the ad just came out that a.m.) and they don't have any, and they won't give a raincheck on them and I think that's crap. Not just them tho, other places do it to!

I was using the 8X for a long time but like you, I now have a hard time finding them. I don't really mind the 16X. Why do you prefer the 8X? If I run across any I'll let you know!

8x- seem to get better result in scanning in my burners, all 98 or higher

Serious like a heart attack! It was cheaper than they had advertised in the paper for the other stores. The store was on the far end of a strip of stores across from a big mall and could not been seen from the road and only had a little sign. Probably why they closed it.

Hey ask the sales rep at best buy to order them for you and pay for them in the store. In a few days the UPS mans brings them to your door. the last time they had dl's on sale that's what i did and now I got 'em!
