      Hi Chewy

i read this forum everyday and go to the screenshots of the nero scans and to be honest i don't understand what to look for

i have recently bought some printable dvd's from blankmedia.ca(verbatim and Tayio Yuden)

They both seem great but when i re order which are the better ones to get

this is the media code for the TY(printed from their website)

      00000000 00 6C 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 52 00 02 87 0D 10 .l...@....R..... 00000010 66 78 80 00 03 54 59 47 30 32 00 00 04 00 00 00 fx...TYG02...... 00000020 00 00 00 00 05 AA A2 22 22 20 02 00 06 08 0E 11 ......."" ...... @ 12x on Pioneer 108

      are these good ones

      thanks

so could it be that like liteons that the more you burn the better it burns?
If you use these forums you will not have to face that...

Geez chewy. All this time you've telling me to switch from TDK to verbatim and now i finally go get some verbatim discs and they are no good. I ran CD soeed on verbatim's seemed to perform about as well as TDK with my pioneer burner. After i use up the 150 b grade media i have i will buy some TY's. 200 for 49.99 is what you paid right?

I have been switching from verbatim for 2 months, before that I got some of the best burns ever with them. Some people still do, I may just have got 2 bad batches in a row, they are still better than anything else but TY.
Let's say they are a distant second. They are readily available all over the world.

The Verbatim's seem to work for me for now until they are gone, but If TY's the best that is the way i will go. I just felt like giving you a hard time chewy but i appreciate all the help you offer.
