    Burning without Menus

    Okay.

I've successfully burned this movie. I shrunk it under full backup and then burned it to a DVD and it worked.

Before though I tried the Re-author and only put in the main feature, 2 hours or something and it used much less compression. But in that way, I would back it up then burn it and it wouldn't play in my DvD player. Why is this?

Does this problem have anything to do with bitsetting and/or the booktype?

Probably not. What type of disc do you use? Can you attach a burning log?

sometimes I do that and I forget to remove some of the extra language features that take up a lot of memory. That will usually increase my compression quite a bit.

Okay, I will do the same process for burning but when I do re-author and only do the main video section of the movie it didn't work.

            I use Maxell up-to 8x DVD+Rs.

What would be the burning log? I use CloneDVD2 so I don't think there is one.

And when I burn the version with no menus it doesn't work on my computer either. It says I've entered a blank disc.
