Burns always fail validation with Nero

One of the last times this happened, the guy had already sent back his burner, I figured it was his computer by that time, I had him try the new burner is another computer, worked fine, he reinstalled windows(I think).

For me this is easy as I have another computer and more than one burner,
makes troubleshooting easier?

The burns work fine, apart from 1-2 files. The older version of Nero told you which file was corrupted after burning, but the newer one only tells you which sector of the disc.

It's a pain in the butt, as I really want to use the DVDs for archival purposes.

Thanks for your help... I don't really want to reinstall Windows, so I'll probably have to live without burning for the moment.
