My best burn ever. Used these blanks which comes in a square box with 25 in each. They appear to be thinner than the tape wrap ones.

Yes soup it's still the stock firmware, haven't changed a thing.
These disc seem to be manufactured thinner than other printable TY02s that I've used in the past. Seem's to me that their cutting corners to make more profit.

I think it's more of a premium "old" vs a "new" facility, where they produce the blanks to ramp up production to meet demand, there's a code on the inside edge of the disks that identifies the batch number. You got an older batch when you bought premium in a smaller packaging batch. The last tyg01's, burned with newer dvd burners were some of the best burns I have ever seen. Mass production is sloppy. Quality control is long gone.
