Ok I did what you said the bec i burned that on is without internet (it's in my P4) anyway it won't let me save the file it says error saving file can not save or something like that but,I get your point although I don't see wht it happened 3/4 of the way through it had 127 total pif and a 99 pif max 1 then it had 4-5 spikes way into the red and finished with 1936 pif could you explain why you told me to scan in nec at 8x is that a more accurate scan? Now I'm confused because I thought it was burning well but,by that scan it sux

Do you know what I should tell my P4 to open that with so I can post right now it's saved to a shortcut on my desktop

just a few, probably 1/3 or less of the nec 3550's were good scanners, most burned fine.

some scanned better at 4x, some 8x, some 12x?

remember computer issues can be very detrimental on scanning

I only used my nec as a backup scanner and I had a good one, I took a tyg02 with qs of 99 and pif of <100 and the bottom graphs matched spike for spike between my benq and the nec

when the disk was lower quality the nec would show more errors

          pie's were always higher

beauty is in the eye of the beholder(test/figure that one out?)

your nec is a good burner, but not a good scanner?

do you have the burn log for that 4x burn, I wasn't aware the liteon allowed burning that slow with their firmware

I do read and skim most of these posts
