    well the jury is still out but from this thread i would say yes it is> It just has a different chipset tham most BenQ burners. See: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=150440 .

    it is a benq but it can't not do quality test

      that's ok I have liteons to do tests with and seems this is a relatively new burner, it may come down the road with different firmware. the only one rpc1 shows is the one that came with it.
      If you use these forums you will not have to face that...

        the original firmware was crap as were the burns with it, the last firmware
        gave decent burns.

        a little history on the drive


        DQ60 and Plextor 750A are both TEAC oem
