just trying one of my never played before going 7% for the first time....surely it would be unkind if the previous ones re considered dirty by dvd shrink and dvd decrypter.....they meet the minimum requirements on my eye standards....ha going 19% i think i am heding to the promised land...mybe i should let them sit on tray for a while

they have to be clean, my first back-ups are as clean as when i took them out of the spindle. nero will likely fail too for those bad ones, but if you try i'd use express, create an .nrg file with image recorder.

ok my unplayed non popular dvd burned successfully......

common sense tells me the procedure is sensitive and therefore it is highly unlikely that i will have copies of my favourite dvds as they are the mostly played and hence the untidy ones..

..its exactly the same as having the one you like less persuing you and there one u want playing hard to get....

I will gild no further.....gonna see if imgburn will be less sensitive

I went to the Golden Rules, still trying to get how DVDinfoPRO works....quite fascinated by it though its a good software......DvdInfoPro has an option of making an ISO file when one clicks on DVD.......is this ISO file the same as the one created by dvd shrink....can i burn it and make a movie out of it or is it different????

an ISO is an image of the disc, shrink can make one. it's a matter of choice i suppose.

                    say what?

ISO file = ISO image. you're playing with words. use shrink and imgburn. may be hopeless if your discs are bad like i said earlier.
