Chewy, I hate trying to make decisions on what to buy, so I went ahead and ordered all three of them, so I should be set for a while now. I bought the Benq 1650 a few months ago. I put it in my 98se. I would probably use it more if it wasn't for the Processor speed. Shrink takes all most 2x longer then my xp lap to encode. I do like it's burns and scanning abilities. Great drive! I'm going to put it in my next desktop. This is a great price. Jump on it!CJ

Are benq drives really the best? I've been using Plextors for the past few years, but I'm not really happy with my current 716A. It seems to stop working now & then. I don't need LightScribe since I print - should I really go to a cheapo brand of burner?Comment
