Capote: It fails...any suggestions?

Hi Everyone!

I tried "CAPOTE" again...and it failed.
Used the new (as of August 04, 2006) Ripit4Me, and all went well through DVDShrink.

However, when using Nero 6 to burn the DVDShrink files...it bombs at the same place.

Attached is the Nero Log.

Perhaps, someone who is experienced can help me through this. New,and have just enough knowledge to be dangerous.

Go back & create an ISO with Dvd Shrink to burn with ImgBurn just to see if it is a burning problem.

Now, my question is:

Is an ISO file inherently more stable?

and...

Is ImgBurn a better product than Nero (which I have other 'issues' with, trust me...it is uh, 'special').

Your problem is not with RipIt4Me but Ner0. You are burning a DVD not ripping it.

Looking at the log, you do have some other issues. Maybe check this info out.

Hopeless, old burner with real old firmware, not enough ram, media not recognized by your firmware and burner.

You might get it to work if you freed system resources as soup suggested.
probably have to use good 8x media, and start making iso's with shrink and burning with imgburn(it uses less ram).

On top of all that, you've got Roxio installed which gets in Nero's way big time. I would remove it via this clean tool:

Better still, click here and remove Ner0. Use freeware - ImgBurn.

But, what Chewy said is right.
