mystery solved, you have good media, old firmware, but because of the auto
burning you are burning at 16x, towards the end of the movie the burn speed gets up toward 12 and the 16x, that's too fast.

now just put a blank in, open dvddecrypter and set the burn speed to 8x
go to mode/iso/write
