    burning a avi file

    hello all I need help I am useng nero to burn avi to dvd files now most of them have worked out ok, but the most recent one says the file is to big to fit on the dvd it will fit on a dvd9 according to the pop up message. It is 700mb in size.DvD shrink does not reconize the file type any suggestions to solve this thanks sweepe

    use an encoder that you can adjust the bitrate on to reduce output size.

              hello again thanks I just got the nero express from a friend and as i said all but this latest one worked fine,I did try the above file you suggested but had a few problems with it.I went back to nero express and played around with the setting and found I could adjust the bitrate and other setting and lo and behold it worked thanks for your suggestions and info, I have used your sugestion in the past and they have helped greatly. sweepe007
