Let's try it with ImgBurn, you still have the burner sharing the cable with
the hard drive, and you are trying to burn a data disk in a copy operation,
burning at 12X is too fast for your setup. 600MB burn?

I did try to Back up. I guess I'm not the biggest computer person out there, suprise! When I had tried to back up, i had tried backing up to my other hardrive, and it wouldnt because it needs a "disk" to actually back it up to. Or am I blonde and just missing another way to back up without needing a disk, becasue I don't have any diskette drive... they're a thing of the past unfortunately!! is there any other way to back up??

Also, I ahd gone through my setup menu thing, like the link that someone had sent me on here to free up some memory, and got rid of a few applications at start up. My problem is, I don't know what half of them are, so i left them alone. I'm determined to get this to work damn it!!! LOL Help me please!!!

Oh, also, when it had tried burning at 12x, i hadn't chosen that option, it automatically did on it's own! odd, becasue the DVDs are only 8x... go figure...
