I have some old directories of movies that I've encoded using Nero Recode and they're full of DVD video files. I've been wanting to get these burned but have been putting them off until today. However, for whatever reason, Nero has now refused to burn anymore files (it burns for a 20-30 seconds then says "Device is not connected"; I'm sure it's Nero because the drive burns using Burn4Free and on other computers perfectly fine), so I was wondering if there were alternatives to Nero that will burn DVD video files. I've looked but couldn't find any. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough?
Nero alternatives for burning DVD video files?

Well I was kind of hoping it would be 6 because now you are going to have to wait for the real pros to come along & help. I can help you with updating your firmware on the LG though. Is this an external?

Might as well do the same for that Mat****a as well.Last edited by soup; 22 Aug 2006, 07:25 AM.

Yes, update firmware. Burn slower on USB (1x).
Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.
Use ImgBurn

Ah yes, mainly due to the fact that Nero Recode is quite inaccurate with file sizes. I got pretty lucky on this one- sometimes it's oversized by just a few megabytes.Comment
