My Benq 1650's & 1655's perform excellent for me. They are great readers & burners, & also work well when using a scan tool such as NERO CD/DVD Speed.

I use Ty & Verb media, & consistantly get high QS scores -95-97. Even high scores with some old crappy HP CMC MAG media that I had lying around!

***** Benq gets a 5 Star rating in my book!

    Cheers, katz

Plextor 760SA if you have a SATA position vacant on your motherboard.

Plextor 760A if you have an IDE position vacant, prefer the master connection.

Can handle TRUE 16X media, plus or minus and burn at 16X and does dual layer burning at the current fastest rate plus or minus media.

I am running three Plextors on this machine now.
