    wrong format

    what does it mean when you put in a disc and you get the message "wrong format", when that same disc will play on another drive.

    can this be a burn that is so bad that the drive can not read the disc?

    I guess I don'yt usderstand what is happening because i can put in a disc that gets a quality reading of 0 and the drive will still read it.
    So why would I have discs that will play on another drive but yet when I put it my Liteonit1693S, it says "wrong format"

          Try running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on your burner. Maxell makes one that retails for approximately $10US ;>}
