Disc Read Error on 7x copy tower

Not too sure in which thread this question belongs, but
its more like a burning error question, so here goes:

I have a copytower which holds 7x16speed Pioneer dual-layer burners,
with one 16 speed dvdrom drive on top for uploading to the HD.
    I have recently recorded a DVD9 to a DVD5 with two Panasonic DMR E100H
recorders. Playback of the disc seems fine, but whenever uploading
it to the hd of the tower, or actually copying/burning it straight from the DVDROM
does not work. After 11% of loading or burning it gives me a disc read error.
I have had this problem with other DVD5 that came from the recorder.
Yet also half of what I have recorded just uploads fine on the tower.
Its off and on when it happens. (note, always after 11 or 12%)

I tried testing the DVDs in a normal dvd player and seem to play fine.
Yet sometimes I do get DVDs that just came out of the recorder
and which skip after 6 minutes, right all the way up to 54 mins.
I also tried burning them to my HD on a pc then reburn them to 1x speed
to then upload these. It seems a bit wastefull really to constantly
have to reburn the recording. Allthough this seems to work 90% of the time.

Does anyone know what this error is?
And if they have a good solution or suggestion?

    Thanx

    Freaky

Nevermind. I already found out what the problem most likely is:
