Nero CD-DVD Speed tests

I would like to know if it is normal get different readings of the same disc on different burners?

I have been doing multiple burns trying different rippers and burn speeds looking for the best speed for the discs I have.
I was told not to burn so slow as 4x w/ 16x discs but some movies burn better (have better scans w/ Nero) at 4x some at 6x others at 8x.

nec is not a reliable scanner Light on is, you should burn ( either one) at least 8x or 12x for that media and scan again with your lighton

repeat the liteon scan with that disk and make sure that's not a spek of dust at 1.9GB
