I am using a suite of Nero 6 products that came with my new PC. It has a main screen called Nero SmartStart.
For the past two months I have been using the included Nero BackItUp ver 1.2 SW to do Full and incremental backups to CD's.
I recently switched to DVD's and created a Full Backup using BackItUp.
But when I tried to do the incremental to the same DVD, I received the error message
"Backup information file could not be opened"
No other explanation is given and I don't see any information about this in the help files, thus I do not know what could be wrong.
It could be an issue of the DVD write speed, but I do not see where I am able to change this setting.
Nero's own technical support is hopeless and I stopped trying to use it.
If anybody has any idea about resolving this error, please let me know.

Some pertinent Specs:
My PC is a Pentium 4, 3.2GHZ
1GB of RAM.
O/S: Win XP Home SP2
