hello all.
I asked some questions here about the required BUP/IFO files to backup some DVDs.
I know that they have to be there in order to get a correct backup but I experimented and found that some only need the Video_TS BUP and VTS_01.0 BUP and the IFO copies of these to burn correctly.
Other DVDs require ALL BUPs for each VOBs and IFOs as well.
Why do some burn only with the 4 files (that is the BUP and IFOs of Video_TS and VTS_01.0) and dont require any more BUPs/IFOs but others need ALL of these?
I dont understand this; can I be educated again!

I have included some JPG images to further assist in showing what I refer to here.
Both of these images here will burn a flawless copy--- however as shown, some files are missing on some and not the other but they still work.
This is how DVDFab made the files.
If I remove some of them from the one that has all files (IM2.JPG) I get error messages from Nero about its compliance.
