Shortfall in writing speed

hello,

as a long time user of dvd decrypter & dvd shrink i have stepped up to ri4m to help with my 'backing up'. all went smooth until it came to the burn. usually i crack off between 10x & 15.6x, but on the two disks tonight i peaked around 4.6x. hardware set up is fine and am using my personal preference 16x datawrite greys. ideas anyone??

Suggest that you check that DMA is still enabled.

am going to be writing a pre-ripped disk (magic iso then write with decrypter) will let you know if it is still writing slow.
