Errors on Disks Need Help

Recently I have started to get a lot of bad burns. My rips are fine I have removed the crap, and when it is succesful I have a good copy. However I am probably getting an actual copy 50% of the time. My burner is making a buzzing noise, and my burning rate has decreased from an average of 12X ti 4X. I contacted HP but they were no help. Here is a post of a failed burn if you have any info that could help it would be much appreciated.

I am using DVD+R media to burn with,Sony Memorex or Philips generally, and burning at 4X the speed took some of the above advice, but still unsuccesful on many burns. I have been burning for quite some time and have never run into these problems, all of a sudden I cant burn fast or succesful. Is it possible my burner is going bad, or is there not enough information for that. Thank you for your response. If you have anymore tips or advice please let me know.
