    can't read disc anymore

Recently my back ups quit reading in my DVD player. All versions are up to date and I haven't messed with any of the settings. I can see that something is on the disc. It just all of the sudden quit working. I thought maybe the disc were bad, tried a different brand and went back to the original brand when that did not work. I have been successfully backing my dvd's for months now, but now it seems, out of nowhere, something is wrong. please help.

And this has what to do with RipIt4Me?

Your log shows a successful rip.

You have poor media, most likely.

Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.

Thread transferred to Blank Media and Burning forum.

do the older backup disks still play in the standalone?

do the new backups play in the computer? before burning to disk and after?

nighttran: "did you have bitsetting to dvd-rom on the new disc that are not play"
under my drive settings, my book type matches my disc type.
under disc settings, it is dvd-rom.
should the book types be set to dvd-rom?
by the way, thanks for the help guys
