My external dvd writer has worked well for almost a year now, and today it froze in the middle of a burn. After I restarted the computer the hardware was no longer recognized and when trying to add it, the message "Device cannot start, Code 10" appeared. It still lights up, and the tray opens and closes. I've tried changing the usb cable, going through the troubleshooting wizard on windows, and restoring my computer back two days. Nothing has worked. Does anyone know what might be the problem?
