Burn Test flatlines at 4x I need some help please.

I have an issue with Benchmark Burn speed test on Nero CD-DVD Speed 4.7.0.0

I try to burn in 8x mode but it flatlines at 4x.

Tried two different media types. Verbatims and Memorex with same results.

This burner doesnot support Disk quality scan.

What is going on? (Its New HP Laptop)
