    Errors Burning

Hi, i have read solutions to my problem in forums, but i couldn't resolve the problems burning a DVD using any kind of software (Alcohol 120%, Nero 7.0.1.4, DVD Decrypter).
The only diference i have found is in DMA where in the type of DMA indicates that use Ultra DMA Mode 3, is this a problem?
Using DVD Decrypter i get 3 logs, one using a Fujitsu DVD, de second using Verbatim DVD and the last using SONY DVD. I paste they here:

Thank you for trying to resolve my problems, and forgive me if I make some mistakes writing in English, is not my native language.

Either your using poor blank media or your drive is going bad.And don't change your DMA it's fine.

    Destination Media Type: DVD+R (Disc ID: PRODISC-R05-01) (Speeds: 2,4x; 4x; 8x; 12x; 16x)
My guess is it's your media. If I was you I would start using Sony,Verbatim,TDK or Taiyo Yuden

        Then, what can i do?
Verbatim and Sony used in this test some weeks ago burns well, but today doesn't.
I have tried to change the ide bus by other one, but happens same errors.
It's time to throw the DVD Writer to the trash, and buy a new one?
Can some one tell me what exactly steps do in order to make my Philips DVD writer burns ok?
Thank you for your comments Chewy and BR7!

start with this and we can see what might be corrupting the bus

have you flashed the drive(updated the firmware)?

                that's as clean as mine

next thing to check is put the drive on a good cable all by itself at the end and jumper it master

boot into safe mode and reflash the drive with it empty

another thing to check is make sure the ide controller for the drive shows
                default microsoft drivers

download the firmware, make sure the drive(burner) is empty(no dvd's)

boot into safe mode? then execute the flash

what does device manager say for your ide drivers

Have i got to use devfilter before reboot?
Or reboot in normal mode and then use devfilter?

                        your devfilter is good
                        no problems

your drive is probably bad but the reflash is free

some people replace a drive and find out it was a cable or their power supply
                        or even a corrupt firmware

keep it till you get a new drive working, what if your cable was bad or your power supply?

even try it in another computer
