It backed up the copy fine, but when I went to play it in the dvd player, it would not read it. It said bad disk, also it does not play on my pc. The weird thing is, the files are all there and it looks fine.

Well, you gotta bad burn or poor media or both. Read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning.
Post a burn log please.

Nope, I tried 3 different disks and all diff brands. Its the new copy protection that they added to new movies. It is on decent, crank and a few others.Comment

Hapkido,
The copy protection was handled just fine by RIFM. I was able to backup my un-rated version of the movie Descent with no problem using the latest RIFM and supporting programs. Are all of the programs you are using up to date? Could be your problem maybe.
Good luck to you..don't give up.Comment
