Problem with Sony Burner....

I bought the Sony DRU-120C Dvd/Cd Burner last week and it worked fine for a couple of days, The last 3 movies i tried to watch, they all froze at times and skipped. Im I think I should return it and get another one, Which other ones do you think its best to get? Are Lite-On Burners all Good? My local Pc Store has alot of Lite-On SWH-160P6S10C in stock, Or should I stick with Sony and just have it replaced for the same model? Thanks in advance for the replies

Are these burned movies or pressed discs (originals)? If your burned movies are skipping/freezing, that sounds more like a media issue than a burner problem.

What brand of discs are you using?

If you are talking about copies of movies that you burnt please post a log file of one of the burns.
