I am not one of the experts in this area, but it looks like you are running some heavy programs while trying to burn. You may want to lean up a little while burning.

    Physical memory : 511MB (523760kB)
    Free physical memory: 38MB (39016kB)
    Memory in use : 92 %

Also, I do not believe these are the best disk, you may want to try Verbs.

    Hope this helps.

    Burn process started at 12x (16,620 KB/s)
You may want to slow the burn down some also.

You need to shut down some programs to free up some memory.

Edit: I was a tad slow.
      PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-111D Version: 1.23
Firmware could be updated to 1.29

A good rule is to be in safe mode before updating firmware. Also make sure you do not have a disk in the drive.

Shane, you seem to be working on two threads at the same time.

            Maybe these can be merged.
