    DVD Shrink

I am unable to change the burning speed, I only get two choices, Maximum and 16x

I was able to change it before. But since I used Ripit4me to burn a movie, I cannot change the burning speed of DVD Shrink.

Thanks for all your help. : )

Neither RipIt4Me nor DVD Shrink burn. You are probably using Nero which you can change the settings within the program.

Assuming you are dealing with Nero.

Perhaps the discs only supports 16X writing or the firmware can't read the discs code right. Are you using the same discs as before you could change the speed?

If you are using DVD Decrypter/ImgBurn - then you need to start that program first and change the writing speed and then close the program - then DVD Shrink should burn at the desired speed.

sorry, yes I was burning with Nero, I have been using the same discs all along.

I was not using DVD Decrypter/ImgBurn at the time. But I will check the speed anyway.

        Thanks.

I check Decrypter and the write speed shows 4x, can you tell me how exactly I can change it. Sorry I am still fairly new at this.

when you hit back up with shrink there's a tab for burn settings, you have to have the blank in?????????????

that's why I do it manually and check the file before I even burn
